Heather Karen Collier grew up in a loving and warm home, with 2 parents who treated her like the gift that she was to them. As such, her parents joked that her power was a direct result of this, being that she lit up their world. She did well in school, making friends easily, more than able to control her powers. After she graduated, she went to Holcroft University, majoring in Studio Arts and Music Theory. She is currently a freelance artist, working out of her studio apartment in Holcroft. Bubbly and cheerful, she very well hides the fact that she has complete mastery of her powers, capable of moving as fast as the light she can create, shooting laser beams, creating shields of light in front of her, even replacing her physical body with one of pure light. She has no light bulbs in her house, instead forcing herself to illuminate her surroundings as she does her work. She sets aside 2 hours a day for power training, and as a result her power is more developed and controlled than most peoples. Her view on the fights is neutral; she’s extremely powerful, so they usually go in her favor. She and Delia are good friends, they were in the same grade growing up, and both art enthusiasts. She’s a bit of a flirt; not a prude, but not promiscuous. She lives her life to the fullest, wanting only to be happy. Her only dream in life is to travel, but she has come to terms with the fact that she can never leave.
Light Manipulation
- the ability to generate, manipulate, and absorb light. Users can bend light to create holographic projections, manipulate illusions, or even make themselves, other people, or objects appear invisible. They can focus light onto a certain area as well as generate light and use light to help them during attacks. They can use the light they absorb to help them move at light speed and emit powerful laser beams. Users are affected by things that light is, so gravitational manipulation would bend the light, glass manipulation would cause the light to reflect back, light attacks would pass through something transparent, and finally if the user can not emit enough light they may be overpowered by darkness
