I’m shutting this down. I have been stressed like no other and I just don’t have the energy to run an rp right now. (which is why i haven’t really been around) I’m still keeping my tumblr address and everything, because hopefully once everything is settled down and I don’t feel like I’m going to rip my hair out every five minutes, I’ll be able to start up again.

Personality/Bio: Shawn Austin Miller is a mischevious teenager. He’s a senior in high school, and his best friend is Kieran Murphy. They have a very unique relationship, with Shawn being the chaotic Yin to Keiran’s rational Yang. He lives next door to the Murphy’s, and is usually there rather than in his own home. He’s very smart, but slacks off in school. He’s working hard to control his power, having only recently discovered the ability to transport to different physical locations on earth as well as in time. This enables him to travel virtually anywhere he wants, and as such, he doesn’t mind Holcroft at all. He hates the fights, as his power is fairly useless in combat. They don’t allow him to freeze time in the fights, so in lieu of this, he slows it down just enough to anticipate his opponents attacks. He wants to become a history professor after college. He often takes Kieran along on his travels, using Kier as a safety precaution when he goes places that may be dangerous.

Shawn walked down the halls of the school, kicking a small rock as he trudged to class. “I hate this. It’s so fucking boring!” He spotted Kieran, and grinned. “Time for a trip!” He ran up to him, clapping a hand on his shoulder, and concentrating, vworped to London, 1666. “Kier, shield up. It’s a dangerous time, don’t you know? What with the London fire and all!” He laughed, enjoying the conflicting expressions flicking across his friends face. “Come on, you know you wanted to see this! Lighten up.” Kier scowled at him, but couldn’t dent that he was enjoying it.

Personality/Bio: Heather Karen Collier grew up in a loving and warm home, with 2 parents who treated her like the gift that she was to them. As such, her parents joked that her power was a direct result of this, being that she lit up their world. She did well in school, making friends easily, more than able to control her powers. After she graduated, she went to Holcroft University, majoring in Studio Arts and Music Theory. She is currently a freelance artist, working out of her studio apartment in Holcroft. Bubbly and cheerful, she very well hides the fact that she has complete mastery of her powers, capable of moving as fast as the light she can create, shooting laser beams, creating shields of light in front of her, even replacing her physical body with one of pure light. She has no light bulbs in her house, instead forcing herself to illuminate her surroundings as she does her work. She sets aside 2 hours a day for power training, and as a result her power is more developed and controlled than most peoples. Her view on the fights is neutral; she’s extremely powerful, so they usually go in her favor. She and Delia are good friends, they were in the same grade growing up, and both art enthusiasts. She’s a bit of a flirt; not a prude, but not promiscuous. She lives her life to the fullest, wanting only to be happy. Her only dream in life is to travel, but she has come to terms with the fact that she can never leave.

She awoke with a start, the sunlight streaming through her open window. She needed no alarm clock; her body was naturally more energetic when the sun was up. Stepping up to the window, she stood nude as she soaked up the light, feeling her energy levels rising as she absorbed the rays. After 30 minutes of this, she reluctantly walked away, getting dressed for her day. She grabbed bacon and eggs from the fridge, and with a snap of her fingers, the pan grew hot, heated by the ball of light she conjured in her palm. Cracking the eggs with her other hand, they soon bubbled and popped as they instantly started cooking. Her breakfast made, she sat down to eat, thinking of what her next project should be. I want to do a portrait..Maybe I should give Delia a call. I’m sure she’d be more than willing to pose for me. She snapped her fingers, instantly bringing the room to a brightness unnatural for the indoors, but one that felt like home for Heather. Gathering her easel, paints, and brushes, she set up her next canvas, ready for a subject. Walking to the door, she stepped outside, enjoying the warm sun as she walked to the restaurant that Delia worked at. Sure, she could have warped to it, but moving light speed was a drain, and it was a beautiful day. She tended to save her warps for the cage, or the occasional slip out of Holcroft to get a new view of mountains, or a photo of the beach. No one could stop her, but she realized that staying in Holcroft was a necessity for her safety. Taking a seat in a booth, she patiently sat and waited for Delia to notice she was there.

Does that mean we won't be having a cage fight this week, or..?
